Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Aiport to Arusha

Upon your arrival at the airport, we’ll greet you and transfer you to the hotel. After settling in, we’ll provide a briefing about the tour. You’ll spend the night at the Lodge in Arusha.

If you arrive early, there’s an option to enjoy a city tour, visiting renowned spots in Arusha such as the Africa Art Gallery and Maasai Market.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to the guide before heading to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour drive away. Renowned for its diverse landscape and large population of elephants, the park is also famous for its Ancient Baobab trees. During our game drive, we’ll seek out various animals, including predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where we can admire the scenic view of the river and observe animals while dining. Don’t be surprised if playful monkeys and baboons try to join us for lunch!

Following lunch, we’ll continue with our game drive until around 4:30 pm when we’ll exit the park. Then, we’ll head to our accommodation in Mto Wa Mbu at Suricata Boma Lodge.

Day 3: Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 6-hour drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we’ll make stops, including a brief visit to the gate and viewpoint of the Ngorongoro Crater for a breathtaking view.

We also have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. This visit is optional and offers insight into the fascinating heritage of the Maasai people.

Upon entering the Serengeti National Park, known for its vastness and the famous wildebeest and zebra migration, we’ll focus our exploration on the Seronera region, located in the center of the park. After a late afternoon arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch before embarking on a game drive in Seronera.

As the day winds down, we’ll experience the breathtaking sunset in Serengeti, observing the diverse wildlife as we traverse the landscape. With luck, we may even witness a predator hunting or making a kill. Finally, we’ll head to our lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park full day

Today, we’ll embark on an extensive exploration of the Serengeti, venturing to various parts of the park based on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, we’ll set out on a morning game drive, aiming to catch sight of the diverse wildlife that roams the Serengeti plains.

We’ll pause for lunch during our excursion and continue our game drive into the evening, maximizing our chances of encountering different animal species in their natural habitats. As we traverse the vast landscape, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for iconic wildlife sightings.

Upon returning to the lodge, we’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and settle in for a restful overnight stay. It’s worth noting that wildlife sightings can even occur within the vicinity of the lodge, offering additional opportunities for wildlife observation.

Meals for the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are included in the itinerary.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Begin your day with an early rise at 6:00 am, accompanied by a steaming cup of coffee to warm you up as you prepare for a morning game viewing experience in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Despite the chill in the morning air, the stunning sunrise promises a breathtaking start to the day.

Embark on your game drive, eagerly anticipating sightings of Serengeti’s diverse wildlife against the backdrop of the awakening savannah. From majestic predators to graceful herbivores, the park is teeming with life waiting to be discovered.

After an exhilarating morning of wildlife encounters, return to the campsite for a hearty breakfast and a leisurely lunch, allowing you to recharge and refuel for the rest of the day’s adventures.

As you continue your journey, enjoy a scenic game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, soaking in the captivating landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive at Ang’ata Camp in Ngorongoro, where a delicious dinner awaits, followed by a peaceful overnight stay.

This day promises an immersive wildlife experience, from the vibrant dawn to the tranquil evening in the heart of Tanzania’s natural wonders.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

After enjoying breakfast and packing a picnic lunch, embark on a short drive to the descending gate of the Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend 650 meters into the crater floor, prepare for a mesmerizing half-day game tour.

The Ngorongoro Crater, with its permanent water sources, hosts a plethora of wildlife, including some permanent residents like rhinoceros. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of these majestic creatures, along with other iconic African wildlife.

After a rewarding morning of game viewing, indulge in your picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery of the crater floor. Take in the sights and sounds of this unique ecosystem before beginning your ascent back to the crater rim.

As you ascend, reflect on the unforgettable experiences and sightings you’ve had during your safari adventure. Upon reaching the crater rim, bid farewell to this natural wonder and make your way back to Mto wa mbu for dinner and overnight stay at the Suricata Boma Lodge.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its abundant flamingoes and elusive tree-climbing lions, although sightings of the latter are rare.

Embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including numerous bird species. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic tree-climbing lions, known for their unique behavior.

Visit the hippo pool to observe these magnificent creatures up close, and take a moment to marvel at the park’s natural hot springs. Throughout the game drive, you’ll encounter other fascinating animals such as buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and monkeys.

Enjoy your meals, including breakfast and lunch, amidst the breathtaking scenery of Lake Manyara National Park as you immerse yourself in the wonders of nature.
